1. What is InspectionREPORT+?
InspectionREPORT+ is a web-based "application" that give home inspectors the ability to manage their home inspection business from anywhere. Schedule inspections, send confirmations, write reports and more all from one application
2. How is it different from other home inspection report software?
InspectionREPORT+ is web-based so it will work on any operating system with a browser and internet connection. The interface was designed to work even with an iPad.
3. Is InspectionREPORT+ easy to install?
InspectionREPORT+ is very easy to install. In a few easy steps it can be installed on your existing website. If you do not have a website, or do not want to run it from your website, we can install it on our servers for an additional fee.
4. Can I configure InspectionREPORT+ for my business?
Yes. InspectionREPORT+ is fully custonizable to your own business. Add your company name, logo and contact information using the admin screens.
5. Can I use InspectionREPORT+ for commerical inspections?
InspectionREPORT+ has been designed for residential inspections, but can easily be modified to suit any type of inspection.
6. How long does it take to write a home inspection report using InspectionREPORT+?
That all depends. If there are no issues with the inspection, a report can be finished in as little as 15 minutes. If you like to add details, photos and descriptive narrative, it will take longer. Typically, a report is finished in about 90 minutes.
7. How is the report delivered to my customers?
The report is generated as an Adobe PDF file and delivered via email to your clients.
8. How do I know my clients received the report?
You will receive an email notification every time your client downloads the report from the server.
9. I cannot change any of the information in the demo. How come?
The demo is designed to show all the features of the application, but you cannot save any changes. This is to prevent the demo from being corrupted by other users which would prevent you from seeing the full power of InspectionREPORT+.
10. Do I have to pay an annual fee or a per report fee?
No. You only pay a one time fee for the application. You install it on your existing website for which you usually pay an annual fee. If you do not have a website, we can install InspectionREPORT+ on our servers and charge you an annual fee for hosting. But you never pay more for using the application itself, no natter how many reports you write.
11. Are the reports safe?
Yes. Each report has a unique, random generated access code that allows only you and your client access to the reports.
12. Can I save the reports to my computer?
Yes. With just one click you can save all the files used in the report to your computer. The files are saved in a ZIP file and downloaded to your computer for safe keeping.
13. Can I easily import pictures?
Yes. Pictures are easily imported via one of three methods: single image at a time, multiple images at a time, or via the mediastore interface. It is recommended
that image size be relatively small for faster uploads. Larger image sizes will not result in greater detail as all images are downsized on the server to 640 x 480 pixels.
