So you want to know more about the InspectionREPORT+ creator?
That would be me, Howard Walsh, the owner and operator of Seacliff Inspections, which is a small home inspection company in Southwestern Ontario, Canada.
Over the last four years, I have been creating and using my own inspection report software. InspectionREPORT+ is the latest version
of the software that has been refined by actual use every day. The main motovation behind the solution was to streamline not only the report
writing for the inspection, but also other activities surrounding inspections, like invoicing, agreement creation and sending confirmations.
Stay focused, stay oganized, and stay in-control of the inspection. That is what InspectionREPORT+ aims to achieve.
As for me, I've been doing home renovations ever since I could remember. My parents used to buy and flip houses 45 years ago before it became
fashionable to do so. That's how they eventually became mortgage-free. Well, my father worked on cargo ships and was gone most of the year. My
brother and I did the majority of the work on the houses by parents bought. I started doing drywall when I was twelve. Since then, I done pretty well
everything there is to do with regards to home renovation.
I've always wanted to know how things work. Same thing with computers and software. I enjoy figuring out how it all works. I've been creating
applications for over 25 years now, going way back to the days of basic programming. Since then, I've dabbled in Basic, Visual Basic, C, C++, and
Delphi. I started with Delphi 1 when it was first introduced, and created a neat little component called "ReportWorks", which was amazingly
popular. However, the demands of the corporate world left little time for my personal applications.
I retired from my "professional job" five years ago, and decided I wanted to create my own business and provide a service to others while doing
something I really still enjoy. Home inspections seemed the perfect fit. And the beginnings of InspectionREPORT+ were born.
